Narrowly skirting disaster? A dramatic revelation from the United States has been stirring up emotions. According to reports from CNN, the U.S. government was preparing for a possible Russian nuclear attack in Ukraine and managed to avert it just in time!
Two high-ranking government officials revealed to the network that the U.S. government reacted "rigorously" to the possibility of the use of tactical nuclear weapons by Russian President Vladimir Putin (71) towards the end of the first year of the war. The preparations were triggered by the collapse of the Russian front, which led to significant territorial gains for Ukraine. A leading American official told CNN that in the event of a significant defeat of Russian troops, Russia might view this as a precursor to a potential threat to its territory or state and therefore might resort to the use of nuclear weapons to deter further territorial losses in Ukraine.
