On May 27th, Alberts' domestic staff found her dead in her bed. Investigators discovered ingredients for baking cookies on the kitchen table, which the still entirely fit retiree intended to use for her upcoming 97th birthday. A window of the house in Montecito, valued at around six million dollars (about 150 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles), had been broken. An autopsy revealed that the American woman had been strangled. For nearly two years, investigators were left in the dark in their search for the murderers - until now. As part of the investigation, Pauline Macareno (48), Henry Rostomyan (33), Richardo MartinDelCampo (41), and Harry Basmadjian (58) were arrested. The quartet are facing charges of murder, fraud, conspiracy, and manipulation of legal documents.
