Prince William, his wife Kate and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, were in slumber at the time of the break-in. They were at their Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, not far from the scene. A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police confirmed to "The Sun" the break-in at a property near the A308 in Windsor. Although the British heir to the throne Charles (76) and his wife Camilla (77) were not present on the night in question, the fact that the burglars were so close to Prince William's family remains unsettling.
