According to reports from "Hollywood Reporter" and TMZ, Rachins died in his sleep from heart problems, as his widow announced. Originally from Massachusetts, Rachins began his career in the 1960s on Broadway in New York and played in numerous film and television productions. In addition to "Dharma and Greg", he also appeared in the series "L.A. Law: Star Lawyers, Tricks, Trials", the spin-off "Young Sheldon" from "The Big Bang Theory", "Grey's Anatomy", and the hospital series "General Hospital".
