How It All Started

The conflict escalated after Harry, on Stephen Colbert’s (61) Late Show, mocked Trump’s self-portrayal as a king and quipped that America had “elected a king.” This followed an edited White House photo with a crown that Trump had posted online. Before that, Trump had initially left Harry alone and called Meghan “terrible.” The row is also tied up with an earlier controversy over Harry allegedly not declaring drugs when entering the U.S.
