Why Andrew might stay away

According to the Daily Mail, it’s “unlikely” Prince Andrew, 66, will attend amid reputational concerns. King Charles removed some of Andrew’s royal titles in October 2025 after renewed scrutiny of his past links to Jeffrey Epstein. In February, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office over an allegation tied to that period; he was released after about 11 hours and denies wrongdoing. PEOPLE has contacted the couple’s spokesperson for comment.

Family gathering despite questions

Reports suggest many royals are expected, including Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Edward and Sophie, and Peter’s sister Zara Tindall with Mike Tindall. The pair have blended families—Peter’s daughters Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, and Harriet’s daughter Georgina, 13—who recently attended Easter service with the king.
