A friendly connection

William's rapport with Swift stretches more than a decade: they first met at the 2013 Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala, where the pair joined Jon Bon Jovi onstage. In June 2024 he marked his 42nd birthday by taking Prince George and Princess Charlotte to Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley, even dancing in the stands to "Shake It Off." Swift later shared a backstage selfie with William and the children, and Travis Kelce also posed with the royal family after the show.
