b) Taboola:
On our website we use so-called native advertising technologies from Taboola Europe Limited, Oneustonsq, Melton Street 40, NW1 2FD London, UK. We use these services for conversion tracking and remarketing. Taboola collects information about visitors' surfing behavior and evaluates it in order to be able to show interest-based advertisements to the visitor.

For this purpose, cookies (section 4) are stored on your device, which make it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits a website that belongs to the advertising network of the native advertising providers. These cookies are not used for personal identification. Taboola collects the following user information using cookies:

• User's operating system
• Websites accessed/content on our websites
• Referrer/link through which the user came to our website
• Time and number of website visits
• Error page calls
• Location information (city and state)
• IP addresses in abbreviated form shape

On the partner websites and on our site, Taboola may present the user with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use the provider's remarketing function. This technology also enables us to present you with content on partner websites that may interest you based on your surfing behavior on our site.

Data processed by Taboola is transferred to and stored in the USA, Israel and Hong Kong. According to Taboola, this transfer to third countries is based on data transfer contracts based on the EU standard contractual clauses and - in the case of Israel - adequacy decisions of the European Commission.

User information that is collected directly for the purpose of displaying advertising is stored for a maximum of 18 months since the last interaction and is then made unrecognizable. Thereafter, de-identified or aggregated data that does not allow the identification of an individual or device and that is used for reporting or analysis purposes will be stored for as long as commercially necessary.

If you do not agree with Taboola displaying interest-based recommendations, you can object to the tracking of your browser behavior here (under Section 2.6): https://www.taboola.com/de/privacy-policy.

c) Outbrain:
On our website we also use Outbrain, a service provided by Outbrain Inc., 39 West 13th Street, 3rd floor, New York, NY 10011, USA. Outbrain stores and processes information about your user behavior when you visit our website. The information obtained from this is used to present you interest-based content when you visit partner websites of the Outbrain advertising network.

For this purpose, Outbrain uses so-called UUIDs (Unique User Identifiers), pseudonymous user profiles that are stored on your device using cookies (section 4) when you first visit our site. This UUID allows Outbrain to recognize you when you visit Outbrain partner websites and then show you content based on your user behavior. For example, the recommendations displayed by Outbrain on the Partner Site are based on (i) your browsing history; (ii) similar browsing patterns of other users; (ii) Recommendations that are popular with Outbrain's recipients at the time.

Outbrain collects the following information: (i) IP address (which is anonymized according to industry standards); (ii) User agent data: device type (e.g. iPhone), browser type (e.g. Chrome), operating system (e.g. iOS); (iii) the pages visited; (iv) the time of the visit and (v) the referring URLs and other information normally transmitted in HTTP requests. Through the above statistical data, Outbrain receives information about how many users visited a particular page on partner websites where the Outbrain widget is installed, how long each user stayed on the page, the type of content on the page , which he clicked on, and how the user generally behaved on the page. This information is only personal data if it is associated with a UUID.

Further information about Outbrain's data protection can be found at http://outbrain.com/legal/privacy. You can object to interest-based tracking at https://my.outbrain.com/recommendations-settings/home. Once you have declared your opt-out, Outbrain's content/recommendations will no longer be based on the content you have visited. However, opting out of Outbrain's personalization tracking does not mean that you will stop receiving recommendations from Outbrain. Instead, it means Outbrain's recommendations are no longer personalized. The recommendations still use information about the document you are viewing (e.g. contextual information) to make recommendations to you on this page. Please note that you must set the opt-out separately on each device you use to access our websites. If you browse the web from different devices and/or browsers, you will need to opt-out from each device and/or browser to ensure that we prevent personalization tracking on all of them.

d) DoubleClick by Google:
The online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google is also used. DoublClick is a product of Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reporting, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which advertisements are shown in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advert from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

• by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular by suppressing third-party cookies, this means that you will not receive any advertisements from third-party providers;
• by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting is deleted, if you delete your cookies;
• by deactivating the interest-based ads of providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign “About Ads” via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, although this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies;
• by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all of the functions of this offer.
• The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR. Further information about DoubleClick by Google can be found at http://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2839090, as well as on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy .

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based design of the Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. B. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements shown to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

Plugins from the short message network of Twitter Inc. (Twitter) are integrated into our website. You can recognize the Twitter plugins (tweet button) by the Twitter logo on our site. You can find an overview of tweet buttons here (https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons).

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Twitter “tweet button” while logged into your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages to your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to assign your visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter.
If you do not want Twitter to be able to assign your visit to our pages, please log out of your Twitter user account.

Further information can be found in Twitter's privacy policy ((https://twitter.com/privacy).

• Twitter recommendation components (Twitter Syndication):
We also use the so-called Twitter recommendation components, in other words, an integrated Twitter feed. This allows us to integrate our tweets on the homepage.

Every time you access our website, which is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from Twitter. Through this process, Twitter is informed which specific page of our website is currently being visited.
We have no influence on the data that Twitter collects through this, nor on the extent of this data collected by Twitter. To the best of our knowledge, Twitter collects the URL of the respective website accessed and the user's IP address, but does not use it for purposes other than displaying the Twitter component. Further information can be found in Twitter's privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy. Twitter messages from our Twitter account are also integrated into our pages through the Twitter service “Twitter Syndication”. By loading the page, it is possible that the browser sends personal data such as the IP address or entire cookies to the social services.

You can change your privacy settings in your account settings on Twitter.

Through this process, addthis.com is informed which specific page of our website you are currently visiting. addthis.com also receives knowledge of your IP address, browser type, browser language, the website previously accessed and the date and time of your website visit in order to create anonymized user profiles with this data. This data enables AddThis and its partner companies to specifically target visitors to our website with personalized, interest-based advertising.
